A few high profile judges, an a nice prize for the winner.
I would consider joining if I was a UK citizen...

Not involved with this...but
a football short I cut for some friends of mine is in the Emerge And See Short Cup Competition. Apparently its one of 11 picked from "hundreds" of entries.
It's a football themed thing in Berlin to celebrate the world cup. Think they're getting a screening in the UK at some point too.

Sweet!! A hot lineup of judges too. I'd like to get involved, but I bet in true festival style I've only got 2 weeks to submit a film. I downloaded the application form with terms & conditions, but all it has is 1 page which is the application form. I couldn't find the "terms & conditions" so as far as I'm aware, I can etner any film, any length?
Perhaps one of yous guys knows different...?

The application form I downloaded is 5 pages and includes the T&Cs.
The closing date is 1st Sept, which leaves me plenty of time to finish my effort.
That's if they accept it, of course. It's MiniDV, but I've heard mixed reports about rejections and acceptances in that format along the lines of "if it's good enough, the quality's a secondary consideration".
